INTERNATIONAL PROTECTION OF REFUGEES AND OTHER INTERNATIONALLY DISPLACED PERSONS: A EUROPEAN FOCUS

The first ELENA 2009 course will take place in Madrid from Friday, February 27 to Sunday March 1, 2009. The course will examine refugee law in the context of international human rights and European law. The course will be presented by Professor Geoff Gilbert (University of Essex) and Ms Alice Edwards (University of Nottingham). Mr Gabor Gyulai (Hungarian Helsinki Committee) will teach a module on statelessness. The course will be given in English. The closing date for registrations is 12 January 2009.
